DOMINIC BARBERI - SPIRITUALITY: Transcript made by Paul Francis Spencer, C.P., from "Luigi Gentili - A Sower of the Second Spring" by Claude Leetham (London, 1965, Burns & Oates) of references to the Passionists, especially Dominic and Ignatius. Reference to doubts about Rosmini and Institute of Charity: other references are to Ambrose de Lisle Phillips, Cardinal Wiseman, Sir Henry Trelawney, restoration of English Hierarchy, idea of Earl of Shrewsbury that Dominic was not suited for England and Gentili's report to Propaganda that Dominic be Bishop of Reading and Ignatius Spencer Bishop of Bury St. Edmunds.
