St. Joseph's Retreat, Cloonamahon: Collooney: letter from Owen Tweedy in whiich he gives the date of the begining of the present building (old house) as 1854 and completion in 1856.. Description of previous residence and states that he had heard reference to an old monastery and church having existed on the site but never discovered any ruins.
