A drawing of San Bonaventura al Palatino on the Palatine Hill in Rome. The illustration is dated and initialled by Peter Frederick Anson. A manuscript annotation by Anson reads ‘Burial place of St. Leonard of Porto Maurizio OFM who erected the Stations of the Cross in the Colosseum. Built in 1625 for the Spanish Alcantarine Friars [Discalced Franciscans of Spain]’.
