A clipping of an article reporting on the dissolution of the Count McCormack memorial committee in Athlone due to a lack of financial support. The goal of the committee was to have McCormack’s family home in the town preserved as a ‘national monument’. The clipping is taken from the ‘Evening Mail’ (27 October 1952).
