The front cover is endorsed with a manuscript annotation: ‘Intentions for Masses exclusive of half-crown intentions’. The entries are listed under date, number of mass intentions and the amount of the stipend. The entries are occasionally signed by discreets and by the Provincial Minister at visitations. The title is given on the first page: ‘Liber missarum manualium commenced August 1886, Fr. Matthew O’Connor, guardian’. Monthly totals are periodically given.
