Letter from Sir Bernard Edward Barnaby Fitzpatrick (‘Mac Giolla Phádraig’), Granston Manor, Abbeyleix, to Douglas Hyde (‘An Craoibhín’) thanking him for the copy of ‘Dánta Dé’. Fitzpatrick adds ‘It is beautifully done and is a work of great value. The trouble is who will use it as very few in the Protestant Church know Irish’.
