Listing compiled by Fr. Angelus Healy OSFC of the dates of temperance missions and the numbers taking the pledge in various parishes including Ballinrobe, Westport, Louisburgh, Clare Island, Clonmel and Kells. Remarks are also included in relation to the existence of a temperance hall and the names of the Capuchin friars involved in the mission.
A booklet containing an alphabetical listing of subscriptions to the Emergency Committee (sometimes referred to as the ‘Orange Emergency Committee’), a collective aid organisation established to assist Irish landowners.
Rough lists of subscribers to the fund to defray the debt on St. Mary of the Angels. The lists include names, addresses and amounts subscribed. One of the lists is titled ‘North King Street’ and another, ‘proposed names of priests to get circular’. The items were extracted from the subscription book relating to the said fund.
