He affirms that premises situated on Charlotte Quay held under a lease from Oct. 1781 (CA HT/2/1/2/4) were not included in the settlement made upon the marriage of Travers to Lady Elizabeth Barbara Clarke Travers.

Abstract of title of William Henry Seward and Alicia Louisa Seward, his wife, to the dwelling house, wine and spirit vaults and premises at no. 71 Penrose Quay, parish of St. Anne Shandon, Cork. The abstract provides a recital of the title to this property commencing with a lease, dated 30 Oct. 1873, from Sarah Deaves to Robert Warner, master cooper, at the yearly rent of £30 for two lives. With copy declarations from Alicia Louisa Seward and her agent referring to her title to the properties and to the loss of the original title deeds. Seward was a granddaughter of Robert Warner who acquired the lease of the property in the 1840s.

Documents relating to an application to the Commissioners of Charitable Donation and Bequests for Ireland for the appointment of Fr. Eustace McSweeney OFM Cap., Fr. Donal O’Mahony OFM Cap., and Fr. Peter Rodgers OFM Cap. (FMC) as trustees of various properties in Cork. The file includes a statutory declaration to be signed by the Capuchin friars and a copy of the order from the Charitable Commissioners confirming the appointment of the FMC members as trustees. The attached schedule provides particulars of the title to the various premises in Cork held by the Capuchins including Holy Trinity Church, the adjacent Friary and other properties such as Father Mathew Hall, and the friary, school and farm at Rochestown, County Cork (31 Mar. 1987).
