Province Foundations: Diocese of Elphin: PHOTOSTAT of original in Highgate Archives (plus original which seemingly came to these archives afterwards) from Bishop Clancy of Elphin, Bishop's House, Sligo, to Fr. PHILIP Coughlin, Provincial, re a proposed CP foundation at Skaehard (Skahard), (seemingly in the Parish of Loughlynn, Castlerea). PP will not hear of a public church. The land properly worked should support the House. Presently held grazing rights present some difficulty.

Povince: Foundations/Houses; Skehard: letter with PHOTOSTAT: BiSHOP Clancy of Elphinm Hishop's House, Sligo, to Fr. PHILIP Coughlin, CP, Provincial. General has rejected idea of no church, and this Bishop regrets. Thinks that Skahard would make excellent juniorate for a possible Irish Province. (place is as good as Esker (C.SS.R.) and tho' no church there'd be a lot of work.

Mount Argus: Bequests: George Tandy Wilkinson's Estate: copy of communication to Fr. Sebastian Slean, C.P., Rector, Mount Argus, from Rev. Fr. William Arthur Bolger, 8 Mansion Row, Old Brompton, Chatham, Kent, England in the matter. Land Commissioners have now paid over £617.922; out of this £4.4.0 has be paid legal exs. £614.18.4 has been invested in. ord. stock South Metropolitan Gas, quoted at 117, and amounting to £520 H quotes his will: if sister Maud survives him, she is to get the interest on this stock (£520); at her death the £250 is to go to the CPs at Mount- Argus. 1f he survives the sister, the £520 is to go to Mount A.rgus. He gives names of his Executors: Godfrey Smith, and Alfred Clark.
