A postcard depicting the so-called ‘Ramillies Flag’ captured by soldiers of the Irish Brigade fighting for France at the Battle of Ramillies (23 May 1706). The flag remnant shows a gold harp on a pale blue background. It was presented to a community of Irish Benedictine nuns residing in the town of Ypres. It is now held by the Benedictine community resident in Kylemore Abbey in County Galway. The postcard was printed by Paragon Studio, 82 King Cross, Halifax.

A drawing of the ruins of Raholp Church in County Down. The illustration is dated and initialled by Peter Frederick Anson. This small pre-Norman church is associated with Bishop Tassach and is known locally as St. Tassach’s. Early sources suggest that Tassach administered the last sacraments to Saint Patrick.
