An image of Sir Alfred Yarrow and his wife Lady Eleanor Yarrow. A typescript caption on the reverse of the print reads ‘Exclusve photographs of Sir Alfred and Lady Yarrow at their Hampshire residence “Green Meadows”, Andover. Sir Alfred was one of the pioneer shipbuilders of the country, and now, at the age of 89, enjoys happy retirement’. The photograph is credited to the Topical Press Agency, London.
