This sub-fond contains the personal and private papers belonging to Brother Vincent Corcoran. It consists of a copy of his birth certificate and the profession of his vows, private correspondence with his family members regarding the deaths of friends and relatives and correspondence regarding the organization of the Order. Also included are Brother Corcoran’s diaries detailing meetings and dealings with creditors and other ecclesiastical figures, his private notebooks, and prayer books. The second box of this sub-fond contains a variety of artefacts belonging to Brother Corcoran such as certificates, a metal plate negative, a cat-o-nine tails and a wooden chalice and a piece of cloth.
