St. Gabriel's Retreat: The Graan: Enniskillen: Printed letterhead{typed): Copy: Fr. Provincial, CP, Mt Argus, to Fr Sylvius, Rector, The Graan,. Curia has agreed for permission to spend £160 on the new well-boring. But this £160 is to be separate from the £3,000 by which Sylvius hopes to reduce Graan's debt. Curia is not happy about this new well; they think the old water supply is good enough to put into good condition. Anyway, it is to be kept up to the mark as a supply in case of fire.

Quality of water is destroying the pipes; the pump keeps giving-up. So, either well is sunk now or money be spent un-necessarily for a new pump.
