Ignatius says he was in Italy when news of Collins death reached him. Says he also gave Collins a prayerbook with a crucifix inside. (Declan O'Sullivan, C.P., in a note on the original chronological card says "My guess is that it (this copy) is one made by Fr. Ignatius himself: it is his style - gaps all over the place".
