Copy letters from 1947 towards the end of the volume refer to appeals for the Association of Patrons of ‘The Capuchin Annual’ (APCA), and to a public fund to purchase Jack B. Yeats’s painting ‘Above the Fair’ (exhibited at the Victor Waddington Galleries) for the nation.
