Postcard to Frank Fahy, ‘Q.2/34 / Irish prisoner of war, Lewes Prison’. The card is signed ‘Ui Dálaigh’. It appears that Fahy’s correspondent was a prisoner himself. The image-side has a portrait print with a manuscript annotation underneath which reads ‘Patrick’s Day / 1917 / Q.121’. The card reads ‘Dear Frank / Just a reminder that our thoughts are with you this Patrick’s Day and every day until the sun shines for us all again’.
